Akeelah and the bee

As for me, this story contains lots of issues to be deal with. How important a support from family members. We could see how Akeelah deal with her problem when her mother didn't allow her to participate the spelling bee contest at the higher level. She got full support from her brother, friends and teachers. As an adult, we should not get our personal matter involved in every single things especially in dealing with people interest and passion. From my understanding, her mother doesn't want Akeelah to get involve because it makes her remembered her late husband, Akeelah father. But for Akeelah, she wanted to do the bee to fulfill her father dream to see she become the champion one day. We could see the differences of level of thinking between a mother and daughter. What they need is that sit down together, talk about it and automatically solve it. This film also teach me not to easily gave up on students. As a future teacher, i should probably know how to deal with every certain circumstances. I must know the strategies to be applied for the students to excel and succeed. We could see how Dr. Larabee approach in preparing Akeelah for the bee. How he manage to inspire Akeelah and make her to train harder. This story is a good entertainment for all ages not only for the kids but also important to the adults. The messages that the writer trying to convey are very good and we could see it form the beginning till the end of this movie. One more thing that i learn from this movie is that, we should give full support and make them happy but not put pressure on them. The picture below shows how the father put the pressure to his son. That boy was really impressive and brilliant but the problem that made him cannot succeed is the pressure he received. We should make people feel happy for something that they did. When they feel better, definitely they will succeed no matter how hard the competition will be.

Giraffe + Buffalo = Gruffalo...

This is the story that i wish that i could have read it when i was kid. With the rhythmic language, Julia Donaldson manage to grab the reader attention and make us enjoy with her masterpiece. What a wonderful piece of work. She deliver the messages by contrasting the 2 main characters which are the mouse and the gruffalo. This is the good example for the children because the story show how the mouse can survive when facing all his enemies. He may be small and not physically strong, but he got the active and powerful brain. We could see on how he creates the story to get rid from his enemies. This is just like the story of Home Alone, where the kid in the story fight the 2 robbers at his own house. Small kid with the ability to track down robbers by bullying and playing tricks to them.

'Gagak dengan Air'

This is a story of a crow, the brilliant one. I guarantee that most of the kids at my time very familiar with this story. Most of us still remember this story till now. What make this story is well remembered is that the main focus only highlighted to the crow itself. For instance, how the crow struggle and think of ways to reach the water in the pot. Furthermore, this story was the most suitable for the kids because it contains lots of moral values. By using an animal to deliver the moral values is the great idea because it helps to trigger the children minds and their view of life. There are solutions for every single obstacles that we face. It depends on the individual to cope with it.
